The Belt and Road Sustainable Green Development Training Centre will be structure under three pillars, with a view to developing a hub for global green development co-operation network.
Hong Kong is committed to promoting sustainable development and green transformation, and is strengthening environmental governance and professional capacity building through innovative technologies, professional training, and cross-regional cooperation. These measures cover environmental monitoring, green technology applications, talent development, and international exchange, laying the foundation for a more resilient and sustainable future.

Becoming an international environmental training hub
Organising green technology courses for environmental professionals in Belt and Road countries; bringing together local, Chinese Mainland, and international experts to share advanced technologies and practical experience; and enhancing professional training and research in wastewater treatment under the establishment of Global Sanitation Graduate School (GSGS) Regional Hub East Asia.
Strengthening environmental professional competence
Providing professional training courses for environmental sector professionals and promoting professionalism and sustainable development.
Facilitating exchange between Chinese Mainland and regional counterparts
Arranging B&R country delegations to the Chinese Mainland to understand our nation's advanced green technologies and outstanding green enterprises, and creating opportunities for green enterprises in the Chinese Mainland to "go global".
